so I spoke to a very nice rep at Blissfully named Daniel . Great guy!
I am not sure if they are a direct comparison to BetterCloud.
but I will say that they are at least responsive.
BetterCloud seems to not want any business as they dont pick up the phone and no responses since Tuesday to emails.

OK. I found I could run

      yum install java-1.8.0-openjdk

to install version 8. After that, I was able to install logstash successfully.

Is there a reason that you want an old version?

Also wtf are you using yum for?

It's wazuh's documentation. They have specific repos for other things too. Not sure why they are still using yum instead of dnf.

Pull your head out of your ass and don't blindly type what any guide says. Even one of mine.

If you are using Fedora, you use dnf period. Yes, currently Fedora still has a reroute/alias for it to dnf, but you should not assume it will be there.

#chilloutbro You can leave off the first part of that sentence and still provide a constructive answer.

You need to think, and you, clearly, are not. So yeah, perfectly fitting.

So if I didn't know, it has nothing to do with not thinking. I just didn't know. Now I do.

actually...maybe I cant import because it's already listed.

Copy it and change the name, then reload Remmina. You'll now see a copy of the same thing. Go back and delete the original in the file system and reload Remmina again. Original disappears.

Tells me that one should be able to simply dump the connection configs on the minions, tighten down the permission to read only for the user and let them operate.

It's not always true that first level support is useless. Tenable has great support. The guy you chat with is the guy that will work your case. They do everything from chatting, spinning up VMs to test and try to get the same results, analyze diagnostic files, etc.

Elastic is the same way. They have a dedicated developer pair that supports you and since we were DoD we could even get cleared people as support so they could on site visit.

To build this, you can just create those two files and do a go build -o weather main.go openweathermap.go and it will generate your executable.

To build it for a different platform (Windows vs Linux) pass the build environment variable in like this:

      GOOS=windows go build -o weather.exe main.go openweathermap.go

Yeah get rid of this product immediately.

      Because you know what?

Their immediate support response and the lack of useful documentation on how to actually use the product.

I thought that you were not familiar with them?

I wasn't/aren't. I went to their website, opened the support chat and asked the most basic question "is there a way to identify what host is master, is it with an asterisk" and they said "Are you a paying customer" to which I said "no" to which they said "have the paying customer call or email support"

I see. Well that's pretty normal. I assume that this means that their product keeps running even when out of support.

      Normal, yes. But also disappointing.

      Fucking what?

I'm sorry but I'm not going to pay an employee to deal with random non paying people wanting support. THat's expensive.

What do you expect from a level 1 chat person anyway?

@JaredBusch : I'm not certain if this fits the bill, but what about the "diff" command? Of course, this does nothing to sync the files but does offer a way to simply compare the directories.

      diff -rs manxam jaredbusch

      This will get you :

@DustinB3403 I know it should work this way but it seems intermittent. That is what I am trying to verify. The remote user would need their username/password on the machine that is being accessed in order to grant them access. I cannot recall if i've ever set up a local account on a machine with MS credentials. Having everything in AD makes you forget all the nuances of a workgroup.

Just grant the [email protected] access to the share for the remote user's account.

That should be all you need to do.

really? all Microsoft accounts are [email protected] for the full account name?

It will be interesting to see what the OP comes back with.

not all, is whatever email they use for their Microsoft Account, it can be @yahoo.com or @outlook.com or any domain used.

No, that is not valid. WTF is even “mainstream”?

      main·stream /ˈmānˌstrēm/ noun

I know how it is defined. But how are you claiming which ones are mainstream. Because there is only subjective evidence to support any of your wild ass bullshit claim.

Mint is Mainstream to many. It is old and nasty and not something I would ever use.

Ubuntu is a steaming pile of shit that only has popularity among "developers" because it was "popular" as a desktop OS.

      Okay ass.

You know what my intention is and was when using the term Mainstream.

So get off your horse and onto the dildo, cause you need to sit and spin for a while.

Completely unwarranted reply from you, because the use and intention of "mainstream" is useless no matter how you try to swing it... HOWEVER, I LMAO so hard at this.

Maybe if it is studded? For that extra oomph?

Definitely studded. Only way to go.
