What the Adavantage with Pbx in a flash? That's the only one I haven't used. I've mostly used FreePBX (and some straight up asterisk)

The PBX in a Flash team also has a lot of nice extra features baked in and some that you can add (Traveling Man is a good example).

PBX in a Flash existed long before FreePBX had a distribution of its own. Obviously, PIAF uses the FreePBX GUI just like Elastix.unli,e Elastix, they do not wrap everything around in their own GUI. All that PIAF does is add a quick and dirty landing page to let you access the various tools directly from one place.

You basically need to know more to truly admin a PIAF system well.

It is also heavily focused on security.

If you want to know more about vSphere 6 or VSAN, there are lots of tasks in CloudCred related to them. Oh yeah, and our team is not very active these days.

Probably because VMware isn't as exciting as it used to be 4-6 months ago. I'm curious what new Hyper-V improvements will be in Windows Server 10 (although apparently it's just going to be called "windows server", no version)

I have Publisher but don't use it. Scribus is okay for basic stuff. I really like QuarkXpress for print jobs though. Many would as Adobe InDesign is better I guess but I like Quark better.

Don't the scalers typically disable when there is no scaling to do? One would hope.

to some degree. But, they are still there an affecting the signal. Hence why most tv's even today have over/over scan issues. Going from CRT to LCD was suppose to fix that, since they are more predictable but it didn't. High end $4-6k tv's gennerally do much better about it though.

It's based on your Public IP.

Only sometimes. It said that it could not determine it when I went to look into it. But normally, on the same IP, it sets to where I actually am. So it is not consistent.

I get the theory, but that's not a reliable way to tell timezone.

Based on what you've told me, the main uplink is usually satellite, right? That could be it. Or maybe it's relaying to another tower somewhere else.

It's never going to be where your house it. It's wherever the ISP connects to the backbone/peering connections.

    That's what I'm saying.

Nearly any sat link for this part of the world shows up as Belgium. I'm not on a sat, if I was, that's where it would likely terminate.

    Ok.

That's silly since they said that they were not monitoring it and they were just trusting you to only use 1TB as it is.

In two weeks you get a phone call: SAM, I see you are using 1.6 TB of source data on our free Unitrends package... Would you like to upgrade now?

For we can settle this in court. haha. Buy or else.

It me it seems the OS just gets out of the way more and lets me do what I want to do. With Android the OS kinda gets in the way of doing tasks more and doesn't let me just work without having to think about it. If that makes sense.

What type of headset is this? It may need a firmware update:
    http://www.plantronics.com/us/support/myheadset/updater/

Once you do that, you'll want to rebuild the bluetooth stack. Remove the device from your phone, power off, power back on, re-pair the bluetooth. That will rebuild the bluetooth stack and is best practice after updating firmware. (I spend A LOT of time on PLT's forums).

Also, I don't recommend the M series. They are the stupid cousin of the Voyager series.

Sadly my BT isn't any of those. It's the M55 - Just a simple unit.

    Oh, I'm sorry...

If you want traffic on 10.0.1.0/24 to be able to hit the cameras at 10.192.0.0/24, why not simply connect the DVR cameras to Eth0/6 and then configure the ASA to route between 10.0.1.0 and 10.192.0.0?

That completely eliminates the need to go out to the internet and then turn around and come right back on. You should also be able to configure the detault route for the 10.192 subnet to go out the Second Cable modem on Eth0/7.
